Year 11 students visited the Sky Campus in London for a careers trip and had a tremendously enjoyable time.

While at the Sky Campus, the students received a tour of the building, seeing some of the exciting features Sky has to offer as a broadcasting giant. They had the opportunity to see Sky Sports being recorded live and get an extremely close view of the daytime presenters.

The group then created a news report on climate change. The students each took on a role to create a 5 min video. Between them, students adopted roles as the producer, script writer, director, camera operator, journalist and actors. Working together in Sky’s state of the art studio, the students produced a high-quality broadcast whilst presenting and conducting themselves professionally both in front of and behind the camera.
