The Bistro
At Grove Academy we encourage healthy eating to improve concentration, performance and general well being for all our children and staff. The Bistro is Grove Academy’s state of the art kitchen and servery and we are fortunate to have a skilled team of chefs preparing a selection of hot and cold breakfast and lunches.
Grove Academy continues to provide Universal Free School Meals for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and also provides free lunches for children who are on our Free School Meals register. To apply for FreeSchool Meals, see here. Parents are also able to send in their child with a healthy packed lunch.
For children in Years 3 – 6, parents can pre-pay for school meals via Parent Pay. School meals cost £2.50 per day.
For children in Years 7 – 11, parents can pre-pay for school meals via Parent Pay and students will be issued with a pre-paid card with which they can purchase their meals. We recommend a minimum weekly top up of £25 per child.
Breakfast Club
We offer breakfast to all secondary students in The Bistro every weekday morning. Students who wish to join us for breakfast should arrive at the main entrance at 8am. Please note that latecomers will not be allowed entry after 8.05am.
Breakfast porridge is available for free to all students who attend for breakfast. In addition, students can purchase other items from our breakfast menu.
