World Book Day was celebrated throughout Grove Academy.

Early Years enjoyed traditional stories, such as Goldilocks and The Three Bears, and practiced their drawing skills by creating the characters themselves.

The theme for primary was ‘Cosy up with a book’ – the students came in their pyjamas and really enjoyed bringing their own books and reading stories together as a class.

Each class in secondary were read one part of a story at the beginning of each lesson until they completed all 5 parts of the story at the end of the day. They were eager to find out what was going to happen each period! The students also got involved with reading new books in the library and completing word searches involving famous authors.

The teachers did a fantastic job of dressing up in their own costumes, which the students loved!
